October – Domestic Awareness

Domestic abuse can be defines as an incident or set of incidents of of controlling, coercive, threathening, degrading and violent behaviour. These behaviours include sexual abuse, verbal abuse and emotional abuse. The abuser can be a partner, an ex-partner, a family member or a caregiver. Domestic abuse is very common among women; however, men and children are also victims of domestic abuse.

Heart 2 Heart for the month of October features different individuals who will be sharing their thoughts and experiences with domestic abuse. This month’s episode will be broadcasted in three parts.
